China TelecomToday announced the launch of "StarHub replies"service that empowers traditional SMS services with AI intelligence.It is also the world's first SMS-channel offering ofLarge Model Service.
According to reports, the Star Big Model is jointly developed by China Telecom Artificial Intelligence Company and China Telecom Artificial Intelligence Research Institute (TeleAI), covering semantics, speech, vision and multimodality.
TeleAI has recently joined hands with China Telecom's Value-added Business Operation Center (VBOC) to launch the "StarHub" service. StarHub does not charge any fees for replies to subscribers, and uplink SMS sent by subscribers on their own initiative are charged according to the relevant tariffs of the package.
China Telecom officials said that the traditional App-side or web-side large model is very dependent on the stability of the network signal, and StarHub provides another option by transmitting data through the signaling channel of SMS.
