Recently, AI photo "resurrection" has caused quite a stir on the Internet.HeygenFinally, I couldn't bear it anymore and started pushingLip Sync Tools.
You only need to upload a photo and an audio clip, and the person in the photo will start talking, singing, or even reading according to the audio content. Moreover, it currently supports up to 20 seconds of audio, which means that you can generate a 20-second video. What's more, this tool can also identify the main voice and ensure that the lip shape and expression in the video are perfectly synchronized with the audio.
However, there is a small regret that Heygen seems to have set a threshold for Chinese users. Now Chinese users can neither log in nor re-register an account. This may disappoint many friends who are interested in this technology.
But putting that aside, Heygen's momentum is still quite strong. Just in June of this year, Heygen raised $60 million in a round of financing at a valuation of $500 million. The round was led by Benchmark, with participation from well-known investment institutions such as Conviction, Thrive Capital and Bond Capital. As part of the transaction, Benchmark partner Victor Lazarte will join Heygen's board of directors.
Heygen has raised a total of $74 million to date. The startup, founded in 2020, is one of many companies using generative AI technology to make videos cheaper and easier to create. Heygen's tools allow anyone to create a realistic avatar that speaks with their own voice and can even translate into multiple languages.
