American Company Skild AI Focus on building general purposerobotIntelligence has emerged from obscurity and has successfullyFinancing$300 million in Series A funding. Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania-based Skild AI was founded in 2023 by IIT Kanpur graduates Abhinav Gupta and Deepak Pathak, who is also Skild’s CEO.

The company is currently valued at $1.5 billion and has received financial support from well-known investors including Lightspeed Venture Partners, SoftBank Group, and Jeff Bezos.

Skild AI's basic model has been trained with a large amount of data, overcoming the data challenges in the field of robotics and showing excellent adaptability, able to perform well in various types of robots, situations and tasks, such as handling objects, movement and navigation.
The company claims that the "Skild Brain" is the first scalable robotics infrastructure model that can adapt across different hardware and tasks.
