Indian startup CoRover.ai has recently become a key investment target of Google, planning to receive $4 million in funding. CoRover.ai is an Indian artificial intelligence studio that has launched aLarge Language Models(LLM)Artificial Intelligence SolutionsBharatGPTThe move is considered an important step for India to challenge OpenAI's ChatGPT in the field of artificial intelligence.
The advantage of BharatGPT over ChatGPT is its more powerful language support, covering more than 12 Indian languages and more than 120 foreign languages, far more than ChatGPT's 95 languages, mainly in English. In addition to the advantage of language range, BharatGPT has also demonstrated excellent ability to handle diverse data formats, including images, audio, video, and maps. This makes BharatGPT more flexible in processing different forms of information and more comprehensive than ChatGPT, which is mainly text-based.

CoRover.ai emphasized that BharatGPT achieved an impressive accuracy of 90%. Based on a huge Internet database, BharatGPT has the ability to flexibly adjust and enhance content. This adaptability enables the system to integrate relevant contextual information based on factors such as region, industry, field, customer, business and specific use cases, ensuring that users get current and relevant information when asking questions.
In a blog post, CoRover highlighted BharatGPT’s ability to integrate with custom knowledge bases, enterprise resource planning (ERP) and customer relationship management (CRM) systems, and application programming interfaces (APIs) for real-time transactions. The newly launched solution provides organizations with the ability to build and manage chatbots across communication channels.
Currently, CoRover's AI virtual assistant services have been extended to some of the well-known organizations in India, including IRCTC, LIC, Max Life Insurance, NPCI and the Indian government, serving more than 1 billion users.
In addition, it is reported thatGoogleGoogle is preparing to invest about $4 million in CoRover, marking another important milestone in the development of the Indian conversational AI startup. Following a $500,000 non-equity round earlier this year, Google plans to make an equity investment of $4 million after BharatGPT is officially launched. As a strategic partner, Google provides cloud computing credits to CoRover, and the additional funds will be used to scale BharatGPT in the coming weeks.
This investment demonstrates that global technology giants are confident in the development of India's artificial intelligence sector and provides strong support for India's innovation and competition in the field of large language models.
