The second generation Optimus was first unveiled on December 13 last year. Compared with the previous generation, its improvements include the following aspects:

Recently, the second-generation Optimus has been trying to "work" in Tesla's factory. With the help of visual neural networks and FSD chips, the second-generation Optimus can imitate human operations and conduct battery sorting training.
According to IT Home, Musk announced at the shareholders' meeting last month that Tesla's future is betting on the Optimus robot project. The current anthropomorphic robot market produces 1 billion units per year, and Tesla will occupy at least 10% of the market in the future. Musk said at the time that Tesla mass-produced robots at a price of about $10,000 per unit and sold them at a price of $20,000, thereby making a profit of $1 trillion. In addition, Musk believes that by 2026, Optimus will become a fully software-customized robot.
Tesla revealed to Blue Whale News that the robot will be sold to individuals in the future, and the target is also to sell it to individuals. The estimated selling price is US$20,000 (currently about RMB 146,000).
