Googlehad released a new AI video editing application Google Vids, and announced that it is expected to land in Google Workspace Labs beta in June. According to Android Authority, the app is now fully functional having quietly gone live and opened for testing around Friday.
Google Vids integrates the Gemini macromodel, which helps users toCreate slideshows, write video scripts, and find footage from ShutterstockYou can also create an entire video for thescene-by-scene script. Users, in turn, can use theAdding or removing elements such as slides, text fields, images, and audioto edit the video and finally export it as an MP4 file.
The entry point for this feature is located in the Google Docs document processing tool. After the user creates a new project, theYou can describe the theme of the video or the effect you want in a few sentences.The beta also allows you to ask the AI to use a specific file from your Google Drive cloud drive as the source material. Compared to the April preview, the current beta is temporarily missing the AI voiceover feature.
In April of this year, Kristina Behr, Vice President of Product Management for Collaboration Applications at Google Google Workspace, said, "Our ethos is thatIf you can make a slideshow, you can make a video in Vids, no video production (experience) required.”
