The company announced in a blog post that Sarah Friar, former Nextdoor CEO and Square CFO, will join the company as chief financial officer (CFO). Friar is also co-chair of Stanford University’s Digital Economy Lab.

At the same time, OpenAI announced a partnership with Apple, which is integrating ChatGPT into the experience in iOS, iPadOS, and macOS, allowing users to access ChatGPT's capabilities (note: including image and document understanding) without having to jump between tools.
In addition, Apple's voice assistant Siri can also use the ChatGPT function to give answers. OpenAI claims that the requests will not be stored and the user's IP address will be hidden.
The ChatGPT integration, powered by GPT-4o, will be available on iOS, iPadOS, and macOS later this year. It will be free to access without creating an account, and ChatGPT subscribers can connect their accounts and access paid features directly from these experiences.
