Sources say that the two giant companies have been in touch to negotiate a number of Hollywood studios, involving deals amounting to millions of dollars. These deals could these two companies get access to licensed video content to train their AI models.
Citing the source, Netflix, Disney and Warner Bros. are among the studios that have been involved. The first two were reluctant to join, though they didn't reject it out of hand, just wanted other ways to work together.
Warner Bros. seems to be more open to the idea, with Alphabet or Meta potentially gaining access to its content.
