OpenAI released its latest flagship artificial intelligence model early this morning GPT-4oCompared with the previous version, GPT-4o has achieved many upgrades: the speed has doubled, the price has been reduced by 50% (the processing cost of one million tokens has been reduced to US$7), and it supports processing up to 10 million tokens per minute. The model has a context memory capacity of 128K and the knowledge cutoff time is October 2023.Microsoftannounced that a preview version of GPT-4o is now available through the Azure OpenAI service.
Unlike previous models, GPT-4o can seamlessly process text, images, and audio information, bringing users a richer and more immersive interactive experience. However, IT Home noted that in the initial version, GPT-4o only supports text and images, and will add audio and video support in the future.
Azure OpenAI users in parts of the United States can be the first to try out the powerful capabilities of GPT-4o through the preview feature of Azure OpenAI Studio. Microsoft will share more new news about GPT-4o and Azure artificial intelligence at the Build 2024 conference later this month.
