Artificial Intelligence Startups Anthropic Announcing its generative AI assistant Claude will be held on Tuesday local timeEuropeOnline, the company's basic software products have already gained some traction in industries such as finance and hospitality across Europe.
Anthropic will also offer a paid subscription version, called Claude Pro, which will open up all of its models to users (including the most advanced Claude 3 Opus). In addition, Anthropic has launched a Claude Team subscription plan for businesses, with a monthly fee of 28 euros (currently about 219 yuan, excluding VAT).
Anthropic CEO Dario Amodei said: We take accuracy, security and privacy very seriously, and Amazon and Google will help the company meet the EU's stricter restrictions on corporate data use.
Anthropic says Claude is fluent in French, German, Italian, Spanish and several other European languages. Claude has previously offered free web and mobile clients in the UK, but Anthropic says this is the first time the product has been available to users in the EU (of which the UK is not a member) and non-EU countries such as Norway, Switzerland and Iceland.
